Using BIOMYTHOGRAPHY to get a message across. For people unsure of what BIOMYTHOGRAPHY is, watch The Crown, especially season 5. It is a great way way write about something you want to distance yourself from but still have enough contact with to get your message across. Getting Published: A basic guide. So, you have a finished novel, you have edited the heck out of it, re-written parts, checked for grammar and spelling, had all of your friends and family tell you how good it is, so now you want to get it published. PART ONE: Optional: Have it Alpha/Beta read by an Alpha/Beta reader who will give you a full report (See earlier blog). The product: Your novel will be between 70 and 120k word count. My Query letter. Good morning, I have been writing on a hobby basis for about 30 years now and have decided that I would love to extend my readership and therefore I am seeking representation. I have written previously, many years back, for media weekly columns and short articles, but I much prefer to write novels, short story’s and I also write and illustrate children’s books. I am also a Photographer, Artographer and Creative. My current novel, The Tower of Taal, is complete at around 73,000 words and is a fantasy novel that takes place in several locations in different parts of the multiverse but without being overly complicated. The Pitch: Cities fall, the dragon roars, and the queen conquers all. Can a stranger from another land find the allies he needs and save the whole of reality? The land of Dresslon, an ancient Kingdom, is under attack from the witch queen Krishia, and her massive armies, slowly conquering city after city. Enter our hero, Shaan,

Not sure where to start? the story you want to tell is too big, and you just feel overwhelmed? Break it down, then break it down some more. 1) Make notes on all the different parts of the story, lets call them chapters 2) Break each chapter down into segments of what is happening at that part of the chapter. 3) Write a rough draft of these small bites. 4) Start gluing the small bites into larger bites and....... So what you are really doing is just writing small short snippets, and now it's not such a huge task after all.
